3 How to use this presentation Follow the audio and on screen instructions to work your way through this presentation. At the top of each screen, you will see a button which will display the menu that will link to other screen. Some screens will feature a highlighted area which you will click in order to perform certain functions. Others will have a button located in the dialog box. 5 The EERS homepage Once you have logged into EERS, you will see your homepage. Your homepage provides the entry point to the reporting pages. 6 The Reporting Entity Information page Next, you will see the Reporting Entity Information page. This is where you will maintain your corporate structure and enter data relating to your emissions and energy consumption and production (covered elsewhere). Once data entry is complete, you will need to generate a report. Click on the highlighted Reports tab to enter the reports page. 7 The reports page This is where you will generate reports prior to submitting them to the Clean Energy Regulator. The type of reports available to you will depend on what type of reporting entity you are and when the report is being submitted. In this example, you are a controlling corporation that will be submitting a section 19 report that is due by 31 October 2014. The first step is to generate the report. Click on the Generate button (highlighted) for the S19 – emissions and energy report to generate that report. 9 The reports page The report will be displayed on screen. As you scroll through your report, you will see the data that you previously entered into EERS. You can print a copy of the report for your own records or to share amongst members of your organisation. Click on either the highlighted Print Report or Print button to continue. 10 The print window The print window is where you select either a physical printer or a software printer such as Adobe Acrobat (to create PDF files). Other third party software printers may be installed that perform a similar function. Some systems may have a separate button to create PDF documents. In this example, Adobe PDF has been selected. Click on the highlighted Print button to print your report. 11 The print window If you selected a software printer such as Adobe PDF, a second window will appear where you will give your report a name and select a save location. (If you printed to a physical printer, this window will not appear.) Click on the Save button (highlighted) to print your report to file.
