3 The Need for Electronic Invoicing  School District cost for mailing forms  Time delay in receiving forms  Data entry costs for School Districts  Manual data entry prone to errors, causing delays  Time delay due to returning erroneous forms  VR Procedures vary from area to area

4 The Benefits of REBA  Reduced data entry time (VR customers’ information is pre-populated in forms)  Mailing costs reduced  Time delay reduced by an estimated 3 months  Paper printing, filing, retrieving costs reduced

6 Basic Terms / Definitions  REBA – Rehabilitation Electronic Billing Application An electronic invoicing system that will enable the school districts to submit invoices and related documents electronically.  RIMS - Rehabilitation Information Management System An internal application being used by VR counselors and Contract managers to perform day-to-day activities. E.g. Create a new referral, approve an NOA, approve an invoice

7 Provider User Roles  POC (Point of Contact)  Manage Users, Accept / Reject a referral, Assign a referral to an employment specialist, submit SPRs, and Invoices  Employment Specialist  Can “save” Services, CBWE and Progress Reports detail for an “assigned” referral.  Doesn’t have access to  Manage users  Submit SPR  View Invoice

10 Next Steps  Oct 03, 2011 – REBA application goes live and will be available to all the users.  VR team will create REBA application user account for POC.  Once you receive the credentials, create user accounts for employment specialists  Keep watching the emails for notifications.
