2. We are beginning the process of finalizing 2 nd semester registration. Your schedule is in draft form, so it may have errors. Today is the first step in identifying errors.

3. 2 nd semester registration is a much simpler process than 1 st semester registration. LC classes continue for a FULL YEAR. We have automatically rolled over all of your classes from 1 st semester into 2 nd semester. For most students, there will be no changes to your schedule.

4. There are a few classes that are only one semester, but the students are automatically enrolled into the new class: CWA  Civics AP US Gov’t  AP Comp Gov’t Psychology (non-AP)  Sociology 9 th Grade Fitness  Health Foods/Nutrition  International Foods

5. If you are currently in an SVL class that is full year (example: Pre-Calc or English 10), you will be automatically enrolled into the 2 nd semester class by SVL. However, if you are enrolled in a one semester only course, you will need to complete an online registration if you want to take an additional class. The semester only courses are: Health Fitness Washington State History Health Science Careers Web Design Civics CWA AP Comp Government AP US Government

6. YOUR If you plan to add an SVL class for 2 nd semester, it is YOUR responsibility to go online to the SVL web site and register for 2 nd semester. After you register online, print out the form and bring it to your counselor to get the required signature to finalize the process. ASAP! Classes fill up quickly and we are limited in the number of spots we can get, so register ASAP!

7. If you are in Fitness 1 st semester, you are automatically enrolled into Fitness for 2 nd semester. Health BUT, if you still need Health, you need to write a note on your schedule so we can add Health to your schedule if you are not planning to take it on SVL.

8. Juniors and Seniors Only: ASAP If you want to add NEWTech Skill Center, complete a registration form ASAP (found in the Student Office - this is a 3 class period commitment: 1 st -3 rd or 4 th -6 th periods). You will have to drop 3 LC classes to add this option. Not all programs have openings, so check with your counselor.

9. Look over your schedule: 6 Make sure you have 6 classes. Make sure there are no errors (for most students, your 2 nd semester should look exactly like 1 st semester). If your schedule looks good, registration for you is complete! There is nothing more you need to do. Feel free to keep the registration form or recycle it. You will get a new copy of your schedule in January.

10. If you have a schedule change request, write it out on the reverse side of your schedule in as much detail as possible. Counselors are not making appointments to discuss classes at this time, you must first complete the schedule change request process. Only if necessary, your counselor will call you down to review your request if there is a problem. It is YOUR responsibility to turn in your schedule change request to the Public Office ASAP.

11. With almost every LC class full, we WILL NOT accommodate requests for a teacher change for ANY class. If you need to make an elective change, please be aware that almost all of our classes are near the maximum enrollment, so it is NOT possible to make all of the requested schedule changes. Also, most electives do not take new students at semester. In January, after we fix all of the errors, we will provide you with an updated and corrected schedule.
