4 4 Nomination Process Steps: 1.Identify potential TAG nominations within the State 2.*Pre-qualify all applicants (ASVAB, PHYS, ADMIN) 3.Build scholarship packet (to be reviewed by TAGs during interview)  TAG nomination (endorsement letter)  Build OML if needed - 15 July Open Season  All packets for fall term must be to USACC PM by 15 Aug  All packets for spring term must be to USACC PM by 15 Dec Must be pre-qualified & eligible for enlistment: Be a US citizen Valid MEPS or DoDMERB physical currently in ARNG SF86 Valid APFT (meet 600-9 standards) Pass TAG interview Pass PMS interview Proof of acceptance into participating University Proof of academic major Proof of GPA, ACT or SAT scores

5 5 Nomination Process Steps: 5. Gain PMS acceptance into ROTC program 7. Nomination entered - CDT status in CCIMM 8.Scholarship packet flow is BN-BDE-USACC PM 9.Issuance of control number and offer letter

6 6 Scholarships Benefits Upon selection scholarship winners will:  Receive full tuition and fees (uncapped) or room and board (capped at $10,000 per year) at the participating University of attendance.  Receive Cadet stipend monthly ($300-Fresh $350-Soph $450-Junior $500-Senior).  Receive a book stipend of $1,200 annually ($600 per semester).  Eligible for State education benefits (See State Education Officer for eligibility/enrollment).  SMP with ARNG unit and drill monthly and receive E5/CDT drill pay.  Enroll in ROTC at University of attendance.  Have a 2.5 GPA to accept the scholarship and 2.0 GPA to maintain scholarship eligibility.

7 7 Suspenses  Nomination window is now until 15 July  16 July starts “Open Season” All unused allocations will be centralized and ANY State may nominate from OML/Board rankings  These nominations will be on a first come-first served basis  All scholarship packets MUST be to USACC by 15 August

8 8 Funding  All Minuteman scholarships are HQ-USACC funded  Does not come out of BDE budgets  Based on up to 4 years of benefits  Change requests
