2 First off, What is Kahoot?

3 Step One: Go to Kahoots website by clicking this hyperlink

4 Step Two: Create an account.
If you do not have an existing account you will have to create your own. You will start by clicking on this purple button. Hughes

5 Step Three: Answer the questions they ask you.
Fill out the information and details then click on “Create Account”. Hughes

6 Enter your username and password then click on the, “Sign In” button.
Step Four: Now that you have created an account you can sign in! Enter your username and password then click on the, “Sign In” button. Hughes

7 Step Five: Navigating the Landing Page.
By clicking here you can create your own multiple choice quiz. Gather opinions or facilitate a debate with one quick question here. Gather opinions or facilitate a debate with unlimited questions. Hughes

8 Step Six: Navigating the Tool Bar.
The “New K!” tab allows you to create a new Kahoot. The “Public Kahoots” tab allows you view and use other members Kahoots who share with the public. The “Support” tab allows you to give feedback or ask for help. The “My Kahoots” tab allows you to view the Kahoots you have already created. The “FAQ” tab allows you to search frequently asked questions. Hughes

9 Now that we know our way around the page let’s go further in depth on creating a quiz!
First you click on the “Quiz” button. Then you give your quiz a name. After naming your quiz you must click the “Go!” button. Hughes

10 Fill out your question in the space given.
Select if you want the question to be worth points or not. Select a time imit. Hughes

11 After your question has been prepared, you need to fill in answer options in the space given. Then select which answer is correct, by clicking on the “Incorrect” red button it will change it to “Correct” as the green button displays. When you have finished creating your question you can add more questions by clicking on the “Add question” button. When you have finished with all your questions select save and continue to move on to the next portion of your quiz. Hughes

12 Fill in the language of your choice, privacy settings, primary audience and give a description. When you have completed those click the “Save and continue” button. Hughes

13 Give your quiz a cover image for easy identification in the future
Give your quiz a cover image for easy identification in the future. The cover image is a small picture that represents your quiz. Click on “Browse” to find an appropriate picture. Hughes

14 Select the picture you wish to use by clicking on it, then hit the “Open” button to open it.

15 Select the green “Done” button to finish your quiz.
Once you have selected your cover image you will only see a portion of it. Select the green “Done” button to finish your quiz. Hughes

16 Click on the “Play now” button to begin playing.
Congratulations you have completed a quiz using Kahoot!!! Click on the “Play now” button to begin playing. Hughes

17 After clicking on the “Play now” button from the last screen, you are presented with four “On” or “Off” options to choose from. When you have finished with your “On” and “Off” options, click the “Launch” button to continue. Hughes

18 Next you are given a game-pin to share with your students
Next you are given a game-pin to share with your students. The students will plug this number in to their devices so that they can play. Once students have entered the game pin, they will enter their name and it will appear on the teachers screen. After all students are visible on the screen click the “Start now” button to begin the quiz. Hughes

19 This screen is visible to the students, and shows up on the teachers screen as well. When the students finish they hit the purple “Next” Button. Hughes

20 When the first question is complete, the teacher can instantly assess the overall class results. When the teacher is prepared he/she hits the purple “Next” button to continue. Hughes

21 After each question the teacher receives a view of the scoreboard before moving on to the next question. Hughes

22 When the quiz is finished the winner is presented to the class on the teachers screen. Showing the amount of answers they got correct and incorrect. Click on the “Feedback and results” button to allow your class to rate the activity. Hughes

23 Students rate and share how they feel, and the teacher receives all the data instantly.
Click on the “Final results” button to view the final results. Hughes

24 The teacher can view the final scoreboard and even get an in depth view of each students quiz results by downloading results. Hughes

25 When you download the results it shows you every question for every student. If the answer is highlighted in green it is correct, if it is highlighted in red it is incorrect. Hughes
