8. Cubists rejected these, and other ideas…. WHY????? They wanted the painting to be a painting, not an illusion of reality, or a mimesis of nature, but a reality of its own.

9. Task…. Rejection of conventions… describe some of the conventions they rejected. Why do you think Picasso and Braque thought these conventions no longer relevant? (Context.. There WAS a time and a place for these things why did Picasso and Braque think it wasn’t in 1907?)
