18  Complete all demographic information  Specify any Special Schedule Request  ie: Lab/PE, Cyber Lab, Vo-Tech, Co-op, etc…  Provide post-secondary plans and enter the Career Pathway name and code on form  List any graduation requirements that were failed or postponed

19  Vo-tech requests should submit 7.0 credit registration – will need to complete a separate Vo-Tech application if first year or changing program – indicate program name and course number on registration form  Cooperative Education requests (seniors only) - select 1.0 credit Cyber Cooperative Employment Theory (#5650) on schedule and complete a 4.0 credit schedule - indicate “Co-op” as a special schedule request  Indicate if requesting Lab periods opposite a 2 or 3 day class

20  Review course descriptions to make sure you meet all prerequisites/corequisites  Choose courses supporting future plans and a challenging program through graduation – review Math, Social Studies, and Science sequence charts  Obtain teacher signature for all advanced level core courses, Advanced Placement, World Languages, and electives requiring applications/auditions

21  Must schedule a minimum of 7.0 credits  One STEM credit must be earned between 10 th and 12 th grade – listing available on Program of Studies  Most lab science courses require 1.4 credits  2 day lab/3 day study hall will be scheduled  Special schedule may be requested

22  Review the Academically Advanced Courses in the Program of Studies  Weighted Courses  AP (0.35 weight)  CHS (0.25 weight)  Honors (0.125 weight)  Weight is an add-on to the base QPA  Weight formula includes a divisor that increases as opportunities to take weight increases – allows for a fair QPA distribution for all students  Select weighted courses carefully to ensure a consistent add- on weight advantage – add-on weight is posted on the Interactive 4-Year Planning Guide  Academically Advanced courses information available on the Program of Studies

23  Provides credit towards graduation  Acceleration courses  Credit Recovery courses  May be available as:  Cyber Only  Cyber or Cyber Blended  Cyber Blended only  Students may be enrolled full-time onsite, full-time at home, or as a supplement to traditional classes.  Program description and available courses are located in the online Program of Studies

24  If requesting a Cyber course for Acceleration or Credit Recovery during the school year  list course on the registration form  If requesting a Cyber course for Acceleration or Credit Recovery during Summer School  complete the Summer School Plan portion of the registration form  Must complete the online Cyber Summer School application  All cyber grades are listed on the transcript and report card.  Acceleration credit will receive a letter grade/percentage and will calculate into the QPA for the upcoming school year  Credit Recovery will receive a Pass/Fail grade, will not calculate into the QPA, and will be listed on the current year transcript

25  Substitute course section must be filled in completely and must be different than the original requests  Student and Parent/Guardian must sign the completed form

26  Course request changes can be made through the end of the school year June 3, 2016  CHOOSE CAREFULLY – schedule changes will be considered for the following situations:  REPEAT A FAILED CLASS  REPLACE A STUDY HALL WITH CLASS  MECHANICAL ERROR  CAREER FOCUS  Add/Drop period each semester

27  Planning meeting held in the Spring  Student and parent/guardian invited to discuss future plans and goals  Review graduation credits  Finalize senior course selections  Discuss post-secondary testing and admission requirements
