1 People of the Far North By Laura

2 Habitat The winter weather- snow, ice, cold, sun Summer weather- warm, sun Storms- blizzards, snow storms Geography/ Natural Resources- ice, snow, water

3 Homes Igloos were made of ice, snow, whale bone, and mud.

4 Food They ate whale, seal, and fish. They caught them with spheres, knives, nets, bow and arrows, and fishing poles.

5 Jobs/Chores Women and girls- worked at softening hide for clothing by chewing it. Men and boys- carved tools and decorations from stone, ivory or bone.

6 Artifacts Some artifacts are knives, nets, bow and arrows, fishing poles, and clothes.

7 Clothes Some native Americans clothes are made out of deer skin.And some have fringe on them.
