6 Who participates? Students grades 3-12 may participate in the Technology division. Projects may be individual or teams of two (2) persons. There are 12 categories to choose from to enter. The first place winner(s) of each category by grade level will go to state. 6

7 What is a project? Designed and created by students No notebook or display board Sources must be cited Internet access may not be available Project should be able to run without connectivity Students should prepare a 10 minute presentation of their project 7

8 How is it judged?-1 Judged on: – Originality –Clarity –Documentation –Appropriateness –Design 8

9 How is it judged?-2 Demonstrates an understanding of the software Explains the various aspects of the creation process Defends choice of software Answers judges’ question 9
