3 Findings Many studies on diet and exercise find that a low cholesterol diet and exercise can reverse the damage caused in the brain by a sedentary lifestyle and high cholesterol. 4 My study I have studied 24 individuals, 12 men 12 women recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s type symptoms. The group given exercise and a diet with lower cholesterol had the greatest reduction in the brain lesions associated with Alzheimer’s disease as examined by CT and MRI scams before and after treatment. 5 Importance To All The study displays that it is important to lower cholesterol and exercise, perhaps we can prevent further damage to all, the young and old, simply by reducing cholesterol and exercising.
