8 My Pledge to Students I will trust you will do your best to succeed in this class. I will respect you and work with you to solve problems – but will not do the work for you! I will promptly correct and offer feedback on your work. I will work with you to meet learning goals. I will offer extra help should you require it. “In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.“ Yogi Berra

9 Your education, your call… “Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught." - Oscar Wilde “Teaching is not telling. If it were telling we would be so smart we couldn't stand ourselves.” - Mark Twain “as knowledge increases, wonder deepens..” C. Morgan.

10 However, this class… assumes you already know the basic about computer operations, application software, studying and being resourceful… will emphasize new material (for some or most) and will not have time to teach stuff you should already know... will give you plenty of time to do all homework assignments and exams. However, it assumes that you know how to multitask and manage time… “It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way you carry it” Lena Horne / Lou Holtz
