8 Clinical Update Nearing completion of Alternative Quality Contract with BCBS – in partnership with Neighborhood Health Centers Meaningful Use Contracts will require faculty signature to get institutional reimbursement Inpatient reorganization –One fewer medical team in ’12-’13 –HMU being expanded –Observation patients to be increasingly diverted from HS teams

9 Clinical Update BMC financial outlook continues to improve (improved bond rating) Volume-YTD –wRVU’s up 4.1% –Visits up 7.7% –Discharges down 2.6% Access –Primary care and medicine specialties have slipped Compliance –Sections range from 79-86% correctly coded by clinicians! (best ever!)
