8. Consultation Survey Results 2011 Sent to all DOM faculty, house staff, mid-levels, surgical faculty, house staff and mid-levels as well as CHCs in late 2010-11 AY 170 respondents, 60% faculty, house staff (37%) and “other (mid-levels)” 3%

Proposed Career Development Award Assistance by Sections/DOM Goal: enhance the number of CDA’s in the DOM and the success rate in transitioning to independent funding DOM and Sections will provide funds to support salary of CDA recipients starting 2011-12 subject to the following: – No significant start up funds available – Sum of grant award and DOM/Section funding should comply with stipulation for research time of the award – Recipients must follow a jointly developed career development plan and timeline – Term and conditions of the award should be equivalent to a K award
