5  Deformity  Inflammation 5 signs of inflammation  Heat  Redness  Swelling  Point tenderness  Loss of function

6 Radial – Thumb side Carotid – neck Children 60-120; Adolescents 75-85; Adults 60-100 Practice!!!

7  Blood Borne Pathogens Protect yourself prior to treating  Arterial bleeding Bright red, rapid or spurting bleeding  Venous Dark red, rapid, bleeding

8  Direct Pressure with gauze  Place more gauze over soaked gauze  Elevation  Pressure Points
