4 Here’s what the article says: “Ivan Vazov” Primary School has been approved to work on another Comenius multilateral project “Art on the Move”. “The language of Art is universal and comprehensible to everybody”, says Mrs Dobreva, one of the teachers in the team. The partner schools are from Spain, England, Finland and Poland. Four students from 6 th grade will visit the Spanish school in Cardedeu during the first partners’ meeting from 17 th to 21 st November. Our children will have the chance to meet their peers from other countries, get to know more about their culture and traditions while having fun together. And, what’s more, they’re going to put their knowledge of English into practice. During the first year, each month, we’ll all work on the same thing ( recording a song by all countries, updating our website, preparing a brochure, making a calendar, preparing handmade ornaments stalls, so called “Workshops” etc.). We’ll get to know our partners’ countries introducing our lifestyle and culture mainly through pieces of art – pictures, drawings, presentations, even films. According to the participants it will be a very interesting and challenging team work. To make the communication easy and fruitful for our students, besides e-mails and letters, cards and parcels, we’ll organize chats and video

5 conferences as we want them to feel they’re making friends all the time. “Art on the Move” is a two-year school partnership during which the students - participants will stay with host families while paying a visit in a partner school. It will increase their motivation to study foreign languages started with feedback activities. “I’m sure our collaborative work will improve our curriculum subjects, our teaching methods; it will enhance their European dimensions and make us be more conscious about being part of the EU. Despite the differences we’re similar in some aspects rooted in the common history of European development.”, Mrs Dobreva generalized.
