4 WHAT IS KINGSWOOD? Our Staffordshire centre - the original Kingswood centre - was purpose-built for residential school visits and overlooks the picturesque beauty of the Wrekin and Clee Hills, within easy reach of Birmingham and the Midlands, just eight minutes from Junction 3 of the M54. Key travel times by road: Wolverhampton: 30min, Birmingham: 1hr, Derby: 1hr 30min, Stoke-on- Trent: 1hr 30min, Leicester: 2hrs, Liverpool: 2hrs, Manchester: 2hrs, Bristol: 2hr 30min, Cardiff: 3hrs, London: 4hrs

5 This compact centre is ideal for younger students and with all the facilities within easy reach of the main buildings, makes close teacher supervision easier. This ease is furthered by the close proximity of night lounges, situated at the end of each student dormitory corridor. All teacher rooms are close to student dormitories and contain en- suite bathrooms. Young people are kept safe and secure with boundary fencing and security gates around the centre.

6 Pupils sleep in warm purpose-built dormitory-style accommodation, with boys and girls on separate floors and gender-separated bathroom and shower facilities. Sheets, duvets and pillows are provided for all guests. Teacher rooms are at the end of each corridor. To fuel young guests during a long day of thrilling adventure activities, we serve three hot meals per day, with lots of choice and seasonal variations. Each day there is a carefully balanced nutritional meal plan, recently updated to meet and exceed the latest Government standards on children’s meals.
