2 Generic Equipment All classrooms are equipped with generic multimedia equipment; White board Projection screen TV/Video (some have DVD but not all – check with us if you require DVD) Cassette player OHP Some classrooms have recently been fitted with interactive whiteboards or interactive plasma screens. Please contact the E-learning team for further details.

3 Equipment Requests Additional equipment (a full list is available by emailing e-learning-advisor@citylit.ac.uke-learning-advisor@citylit.ac.uk ) should be booked through the E-learning team at least 48 hours in advance. Some equipment will be delivered to the classroom. Smaller portable items must be collected from and returned to the Supported Learning Centre. You will need to register as a Supported Learning Centre member so that these can be issued to you on your card. We are based in the Supported Learning Centre and can be contacted via; email - media-requests@citylit.ac.ukmedia-requests@citylit.ac.uk Phone – ext 2661 or 2662 (external callers dial 020 7492 +ext)

4 Support The e-learning team provide several types of support to meet your needs; Minimal support with equipment use immediately before the start of your class. Please request this at the time of booking. One of the e-learning advisors or the media assistant will attend before the start of your class. Call out to assist with technical problems. If equipment should become faulty during your class please use the phones located in the student lounge on each floor to contact ext 2661 or 2662 E-learning advice sessions. If you would like 1:1 advice on getting started with computers and developing and integrating e-learning into your course, please contact the e-learning advisors to arrange an appointment (ext 2661 or 2662)

5 Workshop sessions will be arranged in advance and promoted through staff development. These sessions will cover, for example, the use of multimedia equipment in teaching and learning, and finding and creating e- resources. Support
