2009 Increased instructor access and visibility for students. Purchased software Contribute to allow instructors to make themselves more visible to students and reachable by creating a web presence. Provided training and support for this software. Results Software is institutionalized Training materials developed Provided training and development of at least 20 instructor pages.
2009 Introduced New Technology Tools to the SRC (now TLC) Purchased 2 video/audio workstations for use by instructors to integrate both audio and video and multimedia modules into their curriculum Purchased equipment and provided technical support for equipment to assist instructors in creating multimedia to integrate into their courses such as: digital cameras high speed scanner card readers color printer production software
2009 Purchased a DVD player/A/V Link and Media storage for the development of video and other forms of multimedia for instructional use. Provide license for training modules on latest software to campus trainers through lynda.com to provide instructors with immediate help in the use of video editing and project planning.
2010 Increased instructor use of multimedia tools by acquiring technology, and creating exposure and knowledge of such equipment for use in the development of their curriculum. 2011 The Staff Resource Center increased instructor use of engaging multimedia tools in the classroom in order to increase student retention and success by creating a Smart Classroom where teachers can receive training on the latest technology tools.
