2 Hello and welcome to our E-Book. This Free Sample is a preview of our First Aid for Confined Space Workers training course designed and run by Brooklyn Specialists Services. The aim of the course is to educate and inform those who work in or around Industrial Confined Spaces. Its designed to safely deliver First Aid appropriate to varying casualty's needs in these difficult and dangerous environments. The course is based on 15 years Frontline Ambulance operations and 9 years Hazardous Area Response Team experience, this has allowed me to research and design First Aid for Confined Space Workers. So we know that globally in many industries thousands of confined entries happen daily. Sadly we are still seeing tragic accidents and fatalities including the rescuers who attempt to save their colleagues, untrained in the hazards of confined spaces and how it can dramatically change the nature of the first aid to the casualty. First Aid for Confined Space Workers has been designed to educate workers in the hazards and health risk found in confined space. To enable constant casualty care during extraction to safe air outside, minimize risk to the rescuers and help promote the best possible clinical outcome from point of retrieval to the point of handover to the emergency ambulance.
