4. 4 About ANF IPv6 TF Background –ANF(Advanced Network Forum) should take lead in advanced networking with IPv6 by deploying high performance IPv6 infrastructure over R&E network in Korea. We provide the technical guidance for the deployment of IPv6 and promote the development of IPv6 applications. This is to aim to facilitate the IPv6 production service. Objectives –Deployment of Gigabit native IPv6 production service –Promotion and Facilitation of IPv6 network and applications Scopes –IPv6 Management Group Provide stable IPv6 services Coordinates IPv6 Network operation activities Provides a platform to test various IPv6 technologies and its applications among members –IPv6 Application Development Group Identify requirements for applications which could evidently benefit from IPv6 Facilitate research and development of new applications Strive to bridge the gap between IT experts and domain scientists Encourage and conduct collaboration or joint projects among participates http://www.anf.ne.kr/~ipv6
