(6.3)  Wednesday- List the different members of society in North Carolina in the 1700s. (7.2)  Thursday- How do you think the state of early roads affected commerce in the colonies?  Friday- What role did the Great Wagon Road play in the settlement of North Carolina? (7.1)

3  Monday- The Navigation Acts that taxed colonial trade  Tuesday- One group supported Hyde (Proprietors) and the others supported Cary  Wednesday- gentry, planters/landed gentry, small farmers, skilled tradesman, indentured servants, apprentice, enslaved  Thursday- The roads made it difficult to travel and ship goods. So commerce would have been better if roads were better.  Friday- The Great Wagon Road brought settlers from Pennsylvania

4 Nov. 7- Nov. 10th  Monday- What caused the Regulator movement?  Tuesday- How much of the population was in the Granville District? (use your notes)  Wednesday- How do you think North Carolina history would have been different if the Regulators won the Battle of Alamance?  Thursday- Do you think the Regulators action showed good citizenship? Why or why not?

5  Monday- Western counties had fewer representatives in relation to their population, the governor appointed public officials from the east were seen as greedy and corrupt; westerners didn’t want to pay taxes for the “Governor’s Palace” and objected to the poll tax.  Tuesday- 2/3

Explain  Tuesday- What issues do you think would occur if there was only state governments in the United States?  Wednesday- How did the colonists lives change after the Revolutionary War?  Thursday- What is the definition of constitution? What 5 things would you have in your constitution?  Friday- What were the Articles of Confederation? Ch. 11

9 Notes for Ch. 11 section 1  Please read over pages 206-213. While you read write down what you think is important. Examples: Key terms, important people and events.  Complete the questions on page 213 #1-5  After you have finished writing use the two computers to create a Powerpoint for the notes you have created.  Add pictures
