2 Navigation Acts 1650 Description: Forbids the colonies from trading with nations other than England. Significance: Was not enforced until 1763. Colonial Response: Smuggled goods against the law.

5 Description- I border drawn by the English that forbid colonists to move westward. Significance- Shows the English are trying to control the colonists. Colonial Response- They move west anyway. It was their birthright!
