8 Summary Take a few minutes to write a short 3-4 sentence summary of today’s notes in your own words.

9 Your assignment Using the magazines in the room, find an example of each of the five purposes of visual art. On a blank piece(s) of lined paper, glue the examples and label them with the title of the purpose they represent as well as 1 full sentence that explains why the picture examples the purpose Example: you use a picture of a car for functional art and write the sentence “The car is functional art because it is created to help you get to distant places.” I will check that they are complete with your binder check Scissors/glue are limited so please share
