1. Getting started First go to the forum and on the page which comes up, select “register”, double click and…(now press space bar for the next screen in this guide)

2. Read the agreement and click “agree” ( if indeed you do ) (again press space bar for the next screen in this guide)

3. Now enter your details, and click “register”. If you would prefer not to use your “own” email address, there are several “web based” email services which are free, e.g. yahoo (www.yahoo.co.uk) and excite (www.excite.com). The email address you give will be used to send you a password for the HOY Message Forum. This is an automatic process and usually takes only a few seconds. (for the next screen, tap your spacebar…)

4. Once you have received your password by email, you can “log in”. (tap spacebar for next screen) Double click here

5. Enter user name and password (from the email) and “Login”

6. Then double click on the message board you want to view. (spacebar!) Number of topics and posts in each message board are shown here

7. Looking at messages. It may be that there has been no message posted for some time. The default “show topics” is 30 days. To look at older messages, change the setting here - in this example all messages for the last 90 days (spacebar)

8. The individual topics will now show up, double click on one (spacebar!)

9. Here it is, to reply click here, or here. (spacebar!)

10. To reply…. (spacebar) Type here Then Click here

11. Changing your password and other member options. The password you were sent was randomly generated. You can change it to something easier to remember by going to “Edit Profile”. You can also change your email and other details. (spacebar) Best wishes, David

12. Changing details, this is the lower part of the screen which comes up. It is self explanatory, don`t forget to click on “save”. (spacebar)

13. HELP ! Is available from the functions bar towards the top right of the screen, when you click on this you are taken to a help section provided by the forum software company. This is the last screen of this guide
