4 Admissions Module –Recruitment in use since January 2007 –Deployed October 6, 2008 Undergraduate Admissions: –Applicants are able to check application status and “to do” items online as of November 11 (s. screen shot on nerxt slide) –Honors College Application process integrated into SA –Visual & Performing Arts and Music selective admissions process revamped Graduate Admissions: –Graduate Program Directors and Coordinators using Application Summary bolt-on screen and ImageNow document imaging solution to review applications and enter comments and decisions (s. screen shots on next slides)

8 Student Records –Advanced Registration for Summer and Fall 2009 will begin March 24, 2009 –Schedule of classes being built by departmental scheduling coordinators (800+ sections entered for Fall semester, about 100 for Summer semester) –Administrative procedures for permission required courses are being developed –Prototype for SA integration into myUMBC by January 2009 –Academic Advisory Committee and Student Focus Group will see prototype in January/February –Degree Audit for GEP/GFR will be tested January/February 2009 –Degree Audit planning meetings commenced with each department for majors, minors, certificates

9 Student Records (cont’d) –Pre-requisites to be implemented in October 2009 will be determined by departments in late Spring 2009; resolution pending with Undergraduate Council –Full degree audit will be implemented October 2009 –Training for faculty departmental staff will begin in early February 2009 (mostly on-line)

10 iStrategy Reporting solution used by academic decision makers (President, Provost, Associate Deans, Directors in Enrollment Management) Wider rollout with SA deployment in Summer 2009 (Chairs, Advisors) Full data warehouse in development to support OIR reporting
