21 Concurrent Evaluation Status Status of Concurrent Evaluation. a) State Department of Economics and statistics has been requested vide letter dated 27-11-2008. b)Area, production and yield of NFSM crops are available. This report is based on crop cutting experiments. Report of Agriculture department shows a) Consumption of Bio-Fertilizer is increased by 5%. b) Ratio of NPK consumption has improved from 3.6: 1.7: 1.00 to 3.2: 1.8: 1.00. b) Ratio of NPK consumption has improved from 3.6: 1.7: 1.00 to 3.2: 1.8: 1.00. c) Area under IPM increasing. c) Area under IPM increasing. d) Use of chemical pesticide decreased by 14%. e) Seed Production in seed village programme increased from 22,000 qtls to 29,000 qtls. e) Seed Production in seed village programme increased from 22,000 qtls to 29,000 qtls. f) SRR is increased.

23 Crop Condition Kharif Rice:- First Estimate for Kharif 2009-10 shows 1238 kg/ha. against normal productivity of the state 1492 kg/ha. The reasons for low productivity are as below – 1.Transplanting delayed up to 21/06/2009 due to late monsoon. 1.Transplanting delayed up to 21/06/2009 due to late monsoon. 2. 24 Green Gram/ Black Gram First estimates of Kharif 2009-10 are 270 kg/ha and 269 kg/ha for green gram & black gram respectively as against normal productivity of the state 431 kg/ha & 478 kg/ha.
