7 Title Yield optimization of mungbean through pest and disease management at farmer’s fields in western Rajasthan ObjectivesTo demonstrate the disease and pest management practices in mungbean at famer’s field AESRainfed normal soil / Irrigated normal soil and water situation No. of treatments I.Organic module: Seed treatment with Trichoderma viride @ 8 g and Biofertilizers (Rhizobium +PSB culture) + Foliar spray of Azadirachtin @ 0.03% at 30 and 45 days after sowing II.IPM module: Seed treatment with Carbandazim @ 2.5 g/kg seed + Imidacloprid @ 3 ml/kg seed + BF (Rhizobium + PSB culture each 1 pkt of 600 g/ha) + foliar spray of Azadirachtin 0.03% @ 1.5 lit./ha at 30 days followed by second spray of Monocrotophos 36 SL @ 1.0 lit./ha at 45 days after sowing III.Farmer’s practice Area to be covered 0.40 ha DesignStrips No. of locations No. of districts: 6 (Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Jaisalmer, SGNR, HNG) No. of farmers in each districts: 5 Total No. of farmers/locations in the state: 30 Expected outcome Seed treatment and foliar spray of fungicide and pesticide would protect crop against pest and disease infestation and therefore healthy crop would results in to the higher yield.
