The programme has been set up to: Encourage more people across East Durham to get involved in something creative. We are an action learning programme which involves trying new things, building on what’s already happening and learning from what works – and what doesn’t – to bring about long term change in East Durham. How can you get involved: Specially commissioned artistic projects that are inspired and shaped by the people, stories, heritage and issues that are unique and relevant to our area now. Regular activities including Creative Social events and Go and See trips. Cultural Hub networks to support community venues to build their own arts and creative offer. Consultation for future activity: Ensuring we are consistently responding to local interests, our audiences and diverse communities.
