7. 7 Additional Discussion Points l Important to get customer characterization l Ty will periodically provide user data, and we will look into surveys and other methods for describing our user community l Google keywords l Need to have an organized effort to use Google keywords to bring SE Portal high on Google searches. Bill can provide guidance l SE Portal visibility l Should make efforts to increase visibility of SE Portal within IEEE and Computer Society Web sites and publications l Amazon-like books treatment l Suggested using Amazon model of having brief description of book, also user reviews and lists of other books by readers l Linkable version of SWEBOK l Ty will contact Jim Moore to see if that’s a possibility
