3 Entry Data In order to enter a child in the ESOL program, it’s important to enter the correct code. This segment will provide information about specific codes to use on mainframe. If students have not passed the LAB with a percentile of 33% or higher in each of the subtests, they will be LY (enter LY in the Ltd Eng Cd field). 14 Basis L entry/exit data If students re-enter the ESOL program through an ELL committee, the Basis of entry code will be L. 16 Re-evaluation Data for non-Basis L A date should be included in the Re-Eval date field if students are being reevaluated. According to the ELL Database and Program handbook, this data element is NOT to be used to record ANNUAL DIAGNOSTIC ELL assessment dates; it should only be used for the required reevaluation that occurs at the end of the third, fourth and fifth year the ELL is in the ESOL program (enter last day of the school year in the re-eval date field).
