This song tells the story of someone who has gotten laid off and doesn’t have the money to pay rent She talks about things that she has no control over and thinking that the world wants to fight her BUT she realizes that she has her dreams, her life, her friends and she is making it hard on herself when she realizes there are so many beautiful reasons she has to be happy

3. How does this song represent me? Sometimes I am running so hard trying to make everyone happy I end up making myself feel stressed and unhappy I like that Natasha Bedingfield’ lyrics state ” I am preparing to fight a battle with an enemy unseen and that that enemy is hiding inside ME I like that this song sounds happy and you can’t help but feel happy when you hear it. I’ve got my dreams, got my life, got my love, got my friends, got the sunshine above….. There are so many beautiful reasons I have to be happy

4. Makes Me Feel……. This song sounds so incredibly happy it would be difficult to listen to it and not be transformed into a good mood! Music is powerful like that! When I listen to it, it reminds me that frequently circumstances or events may be beyond my control. If I let them, they may become overwhelming and stressful….. Which can make me unhappy OR!!!!! I can remember to be happy and not sweat the small stuff (and it’s all small stuff) I feel very blessed, grateful, thankful for my family, my friends, my job, my health, my life THERE ARE SO MANY BEAUTIFUL REASONS I HAVE TO BE HAPPY

5. Favorite Things……….. This Song is soooooo HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!

6. Lights! Camera! Action!!!!! I would use this song in a movie about a teacher who starts a new job and even though the job is kind of challenging, she really loves it!!!!! And when she gets overwhelmed she starts counting all of her blessings and remembering all the reasons she has to be happy!!!!!!!

7. Musically Speaking………. I think that the genre of this song is Pop because it sounds like light, dance-like, rock music I hear vocals, keyboard, guitars and percussion I would call the tempo Andante but it might be moderato because I think it is a happy walking tempo I think that the dynamics are primarily mezzo- piano because I think it sounds medium soft I think the music is mostly legato or smooth sounding. I think that the beats are grouped into 4 beats per measure

8. What I liked most…………. I like getting to learn more about my students I like having a deliberate reason to do some self-reflection I learned how to make a pretty good power point and I was able to add pictures!!!!! It made me feel happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
