4. Formatting You can also use Windows Explorer to make format your floppy diskette. Push your diskette into the little slot in the front of the machine, gently, until it clicks into place. Note the arrow on the diskette telling you which side slides in. Click on the "A" drive image to select it.

5. Take care Do not get it wet, beware of Heat & Dust Also, do not take it through the security systems in if you do, the disk may get demagnetized and your entire term's work will be lost!

6. Turning off your PC Always turn off your PC by 1) clicking on Start, 2) clicking on Shut Down 3) waiting for message! Never turn it off without going through these 3 steps.
