6. Depressants Depressant - Drugs that slow down the body’s function and reactions, including heart and breathing rates Tranquilizers and barbiturates – sometimes prescribed by doctor’s to help treat anxiety Alcohol Valium Xanax Prozac

Steroids Steroid – A drug that contains unnatural forms of human growth hormones Mostly include testosterone to increase muscle growth Because steroids include “replicated” versions of testosterone, there can be negative side effects due to an imbalance in testosterone level Breast development, decrease in size of testicles, decreased sperm levels, become infertile or impotent, acne, hair loss, deepened voice, extreme moods swings, heart issues, etc.
