Select your screen name from the student list. Type your password, then click on “Enter” You will see your personal dashboard. Click on “Topic Blogs.”

7 Blogging Etiquette Guidelines Never be disrespectful of classmates, other people, organizations, or ideas. 1. Never type in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. It is the online equivalent of shouting at someone, and it is considered very rude. 2. It’s okay to be overly polite when responding to others. Always identify yourself by your screen name. Thank others for their comments.

8 Blogging Assignment Guidelines Treat this blog as you would any writing assignment or live group discussion. Always read the Topic Blog assignment carefully. Be sure to answer all parts of the question. Check over your post for spelling errors, grammar errors, proper punctuation, and complete sentences. At the end of a sentence, one punctuation mark is enough! This is not Twitter, Facebook, or text messaging. Save casual conversation for those media. (No “OMG” or “LOL”) Only post relevant and pertinent conversation to the blog. (Stay on topic!) Before posting comments on your classmates’ posts, read the post and all other comments carefully. You are expected to respond to a variety of classmates.

13 Comments All comments must be respectful If a comment makes you feel uncomfortable, weird, or not respected: tell your teacher right away do not respond to the comment
