2 Who are the training materials for? Focused primarily on the needs of experienced librarians for introductory or refresher Dewey application training Useful as supplementary materials in other Dewey training contexts, e.g., teaching Dewey to LIS students

3 What facilities are needed to use the training materials? Electronic classroom Instructor workstation with PowerPoint, data projector, WebDewey access Student workstations with WebDewey access WebDewey access Existing WebDewey subscription OCLC's Library and Information Science Education Program 30-day trial basis access; contact Libbie Crawford (crawforl@oclc.org)

5 Is there a sequence in which the training modules should be used? No prescribed sequence through all modules Some prerequisites to more advanced modules: WebDewey: Basics Technical introduction to the DDC Table 1 Choice of number review Check blog entry: look for DDC in the classroom in the list of categories
