2 IntroductionIntroduction  Human Resource Management is an intranet application. HRM provides integrated system facilitates for changes or updated to employee’s records once positions or assignments have been updated. It is Streamlines personnel, time keeping and payroll processes and increases productivity of company. Indirectly Cost savings arising mainly from reduction of processing time, reduction of overtimes, administrative costs eventually administrative cost savings. Availability of management reports for management to make sound decisions and plans.  It is easily configured to interface with company's own systems for production and accounting. Fast, easy, and economical to deploy and maintain reducing infrastructure costs. Enable employees to view and update personal information, file time adjustments and leave availability through self-services inventory information.

3 Why This project  Big corporation like Microsoft,msn, live.com uses this technology to maintain their all employees data online.  our project provider company also suggest us to use.Net technology to develop website for HRM where large amount of information is store.  So, we have decide to develop HRM website in.Net technology.

4 FeaturesFeatures  Payroll - Automates the pay process by gathering data on employee time and attendance, calculating various deductions and taxes, and generating periodic pay cheques and employee tax reports.  Online recruiting - It has become one of the primary methods employed by HR departments to garner potential candidates for available positions within an organization.  Time & Attendance - It gathers standardized time and work related efforts. The most advanced modules provide broad flexibility in data collection methods, labor distribution capabilities and data analysis features.

5  Benefits administration module - It provides a system for organizations to administer and track employee participation in benefits programs. These typically encompass insurance, compensation, profit sharing and retirement.  HR management module - It is a component covering many other HR aspects from application to retirement. The system records basic demographic and address data, selection, training and development, capabilities and skills management, compensation planning records and other related activities. 6   Employee Self-Service module - It allows employees to query HR related data and perform some HR transactions over the system. Employees may query their attendance record from the system without asking the information from HR personnel.   Leave Management System - Web ‐ based Employee Leave Management System streamlines communication between HR and employees, facilitates simple yet efficient management of employee leaves. 7  Security - User can login into system using their corporate email credentials. This application is accessible only with in office intranet. Application encrypts all essential information before storing it into database for better protection of data.  Performance Appraisal - HRM includes web ‐ based performance appraisal module that helps your organization quickly create high ‐ value performance appraisals for all employees. 8 Purpose Of The Project  Human Resource Management used to have a manual system where they had to collect applications from employees and maintain a ledger for each and every employee in order to keep their records. This entire exercise was extremely time consuming and more over it had high probability for data discrepancies.  HRM generates the complete reports which can be used for payroll, attendance and leave processing. This is a web ‐ based application developed to include the above describe workflow based features.

10 Shodh Yatra  We have visited “BISAG”, gandhinagar for the project definition regarding our project (IDP). It is fruitful that they responded positively and are agreed to give us our project definition i.e. IDP. 2–10

11 Why This Technologies  We used.Net technology because it is a platform where drag and drop option is easily available.  The.Net application is compiled into intermediate language rather than machine code which makes the execution easy for any platform or device to compile the code.  It is a platform or a framework where compilation is dynamic.  As explained earlier,.NET is emerging as well as easy to develop websites where huge data is maintained.
