Read the Recipe Directions: 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F 2.In one bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. In the mixer bowl combine softened butter with shortening, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Cream together until smooth. Beat in egg. Gradually add flour mixture and mix well.
