4. Detention  Students sent to office will serve detention. Parents will be notified immediately.  If a teacher asks a student not to do something and they do it anyway, the student should expect to serve detention.  If a teacher asks a student to do something and the student refuses, the student should expect to serve detention.

Tardies  Teachers are Responsible for Marking Students Tardy Within PowerSchool  On the 4 th Tardy of the Semester and every subsequent Tardy, the student will serve a detention – policy does state that after 9 tardies for the year, an in-school suspension will be served  If the bus makes it to school on time, students driving should make it to school on time.

7. Absences  If you are gone, a parent needs to contact the school either through a note or a telephone call.  I will monitor absences -- 10 absences in a specific class for the duration of a semester means the student will fail that class unless they come in front of the board and the board dictates otherwise.  Every absence will cause notification both to you and parents.

8. Phones/iPods  If a teacher sees you with a cell phone or an iPod touch, it will be taken away. It will find its way to the office and can be picked up by a parent.

9. Drugs or Alcohol  Any evidence of drugs or alcohol will result in appropriate disciplinary actions.  Law enforcement will be notified.

10. Lockers  7 th Grade – by the Entrance  8 th Grade – by the gym doors  9 th Grade – beside the 8 th grade  10 th Grade – beside the 9 th – unless space is limited they can move to stage  11 th Grade – on Stage  12 th Grade – by Mr. Stoterau’s room  All Locker Choices must be documented by the end of the week. Julie has a sheet in the office. Undocumented lockers must be kept clean. Periodically they will be checked.
