What did you like about the Distance Learning experience? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ The exchange of conversation between sites was very good this year. There was more student interaction and the teachers were easy to work with. The chance to work with students from other schools. Everything went very smoothly this year. Very few equipment glitches. The learning experience in all the classes - I enjoyed working with the various host teachers. The teachers and students, the selection of courses. The students have a chance to take classes our school doesn't have. I found the subjects quite interesting.

What did you dislike about the Distance Learning experience? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ The teacher paid more attention to his home class. In some of the courses, not being able to get together with students and teachers. The teacher's lack of planning ahead. He should fax materials at least one day in advance so that we have time to copy and distribute it to the students. Most of the time it's really too much to copy on the fax when he faxes it during class and wants to use it the same day. I disliked the fact that not all the schools are on the same time frame, not every school signs on at the same time. Not being able to meet for a while because of the schools have different days off. At times there are scheduling conflicts.

What changes would you offer to improve the DL program? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ It seems to have been a pretty good year. Problems were minimal. Have the teachers send worksheets/handouts ahead of time!! [One teacher], no matter how many times we asked him, still sent worksheets right when he wanted students to answer them!! With a class of 16 students and a copy machine super slow, this caused major problems!! Try to schedule with schools who have the same days off and vacations. Try to resolve time of class problems.

She treated all the schools equally and made the class easy to understand. It was an interesting course. DL has been a great experience, I hope to be fortunate to be placed here again next year.
