2. What is a Salk Buck?  A reward for academic success and excellence  Teachers hand them out to YOU who set a good example academically for other students.  Examples: If you complete all homework, come in to retake a quiz, participating in class, fill out your planner, show one of the 8 Keys of Excellence, etc.

3. How do you get a Salk Buck?  You show academic awesomeness or one of the 8 Keys of Excellence  Your teacher fills out Salk Buck  You “cash in” Salk Buck for various prizes  One Salk Buck: assorted pencils, toy assortment, bouncy balls  Two: slinkies, Salk pencils, finger puppets  Three: beach balls, slap on bracelets  Five: $5 gift cards (while supplies last)

4. Students “cash in” the last Friday of every month in the morning in the entry way And obviously, students who receive a Salk Buck would show integrity and keep their prizes in their lockers until the end of the day. Thank you! (first chance to redeem your prize is March 27 th in the morning )
