2. Christmas Fair Bags will be coming home in the book bags next week. Please can these be filled with sweets, chocolate or a small child's toy and returned to school by the 23rd November for the ever popular children's tombola. Please also bring in any toys, books and Secret Santa (unwanted gift items) donations in the week commencing 19 th November. On Friday 23 rd November pupils can wear their own clothes to school in return for bringing in a bottle. If we get enough bottles this year, we hope to run the popular barrel of booze raffle in addition to our regular bottle tombola. Paper plates will be sent home the week after next for cake (Nursery – Year 2) and mince pie (Years 3-6) donations. Whole cake donations are also accepted and these will be individually priced and sold whole. If you are able to help set up the Fair please see Mel Joyce or Vicky Tuson. If you would like to join the club, forms are available from the school office and at PSA events. Easy Fundraising We also do Easy Fundraising where money you spend shopping online goes to the PSA with no cost to you. The shops include thousands of retailers from Amazon, Asda and Argos to Ebay, Tesco, Boots and M&S. 3. Bishops Down PSA November 2012 update Cake sales Every class will get a turn of baking cakes to be sold at a Friday pick up time. Cakes are sold at 30p each or 4 for £1. This year we are combining 2 classes together to increase the number of cakes on sale. The number of pupils at the school has increased and we don’t want to see children unhappy because they missed out on the cakes! Uniform sales The PSA has a number of items of second hand uniform which are all sold at £1 each. Look out for sale dates on the PSA bulletin. We often sell alongside a cake sale. If you have any items of uniform you would like to donate, please pass them to a PSA member or the School's office. Items for hire The PSA has a number of items available for hire, e.g. the tug of war rope, chocolate fountain and a small bouncy castle (donations to be made to the PSA). Any unwanted storage boxes? The PSA are in need of lidded storage boxes. If you have any spare please contact the PSA.
