Agenda: Introduction housing types and methods of assembly systems and building regulations Professional Practice Conclusions

Aims to explore the basics of urban design and the theoretical aspects applied in the housing schemes and residential areas and highlighting the excellence and creativity and the factors that helped in achieving that excellence and innovation then look into the possibility of their application in housing schemes in urban areas. Introduction and Definition The design of any residential area or otherwise should be placed on a preview of integrating all elements and components of a fashion to be spotted on how the region appears detail after the implementation of the scheme and knowledge of environmental impact, aesthetic and physical and psychological violence that have made the determination to residents and visitors, and this the most important concerns of urban design. Urban Design is located in the middle between a group the most important professional disciplines of Architecture and Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning, so it is hard to separate aspects of each of these micro- disciplinary unit within that area. Emanating from this union a set of rules and theories that are attributed specifically to the urban design more than that attributed to any other specialty.

Mainly on the types of housing units separate and independent and less related to the residential buildings that house multiple families. And the type of separate autonomous units in the cities is usually defined to strictly. The concept of large areas of many villas However, these villas in the area and sometimes to less than 250 meters at the same time, available where most of the homes in the general sense of people, and as such represents a role model for housing. As demonstrated by another type of housing has not been recognized in the rest of the major, called houses in term, usually a one-story single family enough (Town houses). In addition, varied types of housing while retaining much of the constants contained in the regulations and building regulations of the city. housing types and methods of assembly

The quest for innovation in urban design requires sufficient flexibility in the systems and building regulations and direct guidance to achieve this goal and reduce the impact of other forces is the predominance of adverse impact of trade and seeking to respond to market forces. The application of systems and building regulations especially with regard to Ppalartdadat, rises, and the rates of construction, and methods of the division of land parcels and assembled mechanically incompatible with the desire to achieve an innovation and the creation of residential environments have a rich and attractive where the population lives Mtervhp. systems and building regulations

Of professional practice provides an important role in the creative side of design as it must be seen to any residential scheme in three dimensions rather than through a two-dimensional maps. Must be built housing plans on the vision includes an integrated and comprehensive solutions for all Enasralbiip- built buildings, facilities and streets and spaces of Foreign Affairs up to the degree of detail achieved by the minute by the creativity and professional sound solutions. Comes not only through pay professional cadres of qualified and specialized consulting firms to design. Professional Practice

Shows the design of urban residential neighborhood distinctive solutions which emerged from the pursuit of many of the theoretical foundations and ideas of modern urban design while maintaining the Islamic values and taking into account local customs and traditions of the population. Considering the innovative solutions applied in the city of Yanbu on the one hand and the other traditional solutions applied in many other cities in the other. The adoption of this total, the theoretical foundations and creative ideas are a strong indication of the systematic proper scientific method in professional practice in the field of urban design, and the flexibility to building regulations which have been applied in the design of the city have a strong impact in showing the form that characterized it. And research suggests that these regulations and regulations directed mainly to serve the goal of getting innovative solutions and distinctive, while the systems and building regulations in many cities, others are directed to serve the purpose of achieving justice in the distribution of opportunities and is thus reducing access to innovative solutions. So as to realize the aspects of innovation and excellence by providing the appropriate flexibility in building regulations and the promotion of professional practice. Conclusion
