Expectations From When you Enter Class Until you Exit!

 If you wish to chat with a fellow classmate, do so before entering the class.  As soon as you enter, go to your assigned seat and begin the warm-up  You will have two separate sheets of your paper to be used for multiple warm-ups. One should always be available to you.  If you finish early, remain quietly in your seat until your classmates complete the warm-up as well.

 We will always do work in this class so you need paper and a pencil each day.  A scientific calculator doesn’t hurt, though there will be a class set available.  Anyone found playing games on the calculator means no more class set for the ENTIRE class.  You’ll need a 3-ring binder, about 1-1/2 to 2 inches. Course Expectations details categories.

 Food and any beverage other than water.  Gum  Cell phones, I don’t even want to know that you own one.  Other electronic devices, ditto to the above.  Talking when I am instructing the class on any matter.  Talking loudly during group work.  Touching any piece of lab equipment without my okay.

 Using any piece of equipment as a toy (this includes using meter sticks as swords).  Offender will lose lab privileges for one month and will do bookwork instead.  Engaging in horseplay around the lab equipment.  Not paying attention while lab instructions are being delivered. Talk during the instructions and you will be given a bookwork assignment.
