2 Animal Project This week second graders will be learning about animal and plant life cycles. Our field trip to the Indianapolis Zoo is this Friday, May 23 rd !

3 Noise Level 1 Monday Look at the picture on page 192 and 193. Discuss what you think the animal will grow up to be. Then, Read Lesson 1: What is the life cycle of a butterfly? Tuesday Lesson 2: What is the life cycle of a frog? Read the lesson and complete the responses in your group. Wednesday Lesson 3: What is the life cycle of a plant? Read and complete the responses in your reading group. Thursday Quiz Friday Field Trip to the Indianapolis Zoo! 4 Monday Lesson 1: The Life Cycle of a Butterfly On page 195, complete the SEQUENCE activity and response. Then, complete any pages from Lesson 1 that you did not finish in Reading. Tuesday On page 202, complete the activity to show how the life cycles are alike and different. You will create a mobile to display your findings. Wednesday Complete Investigate It: What is the life cycle of a beetle? Pages 214 and 215.
