3 Background Info  As more and more consumers conduct business, shop, search for specific businesses, and search for specific goods and services on the Internet, it is becoming even more critical for businesses and their specific products and services to be readily, easily, and more frequently “found” on the Internet.  we distinguish between three general manifestations of customer engagement: WOM, customer cocreation, and complaining behavior; all of which affecting the brand or firm in ways other than purchase. 2
