Using advanced technologies in standardized environments is the best way to guarantee security. Multipurpose use of technologies for safety and security reduce the costs for logistics. The monitoring of high value goods in international supply chain processes needs standardized screening in logistics areas to optimize costs and benefits. Auto-ID projects over all stages of vertical integration will combine supply chain transparency and EAS - this means: Process Safety and Security. RFID mode stirred chamber and low cost depth imaging may contribute to improve security and safety by a load unit fingerprint during the long supply chain.
