Government control of the monopolies  trusts in general were bad and should be eliminates!
Tariff reduction.
One-term President.
Direct election of Senators.
Create a Department of Labor.
Strengthen the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.
Did NOT support women’s suffrage.
Opposed to a central bank.

First Democrat to win since 1897.

His first name is Thomas and he was called "Tommy" until his college years.
Was the first president to attend the Major League Baseball Fall Classic. He saw the debut of a young 20 year old  pitcher by the name of George Herman "Babe" Ruth.
Was a graduate of Princeton University and the only president to hold an earned doctoral degree.

Ellen Wilson, Wilson's first wife and mother of their three daughters, died of Bright's Disease and passed away in the White House on August 14, 1914.
Woodrow Wilson remarried on December 18, 1915 to Edith Galt. 
Sheep grazed on the White House lawn to help the Red Cross raise wool for the war effort.
