How Did Your Town Spend the SIP Bonus Money? North Wildwood invites employees and their families to its annual "Safety Beach Bash". We report our results for the current year as compared to prior years and encourage all employees to continue with a “Safety First” attitude. It has been received well for the past several years and improves employee morale and safety. Ray Townsend

How Did Your Town Spend the SIP Bonus Money? Northfield hosted a "Safety & Wellness Fair" for employees, retirees, and volunteers. Several health and wellness practitioners offered free blood-sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure screenings; chiropractic evaluations and information on back safety/proper lifting; vitamins, supplements and holistic approaches to health care and fitness. Staff was treated to a holiday luncheon buffet and were able to explore opportunities for a safer and healthier lifestyle at the same time! GREAT MORALE BOOSTER!

Lower Twp First Annual Picnic Held First Annual Employee Safety Picnic at one a local campground. It was a huge success! Campground donated use of their facility. Water, soda, and salads were donated by local merchants. Ice was donated by our local fire departments and we provided employees with a delicious barbeque lunch from a local caterer. Rewards like these improve employee morale and safety awareness!

Hamilton Twp Safety Day with an Olympic Theme –Complete with skits and a bob sled competition –Video presentation to share with others –Flying Fickle Finger of Safety awarded Great way to reward employee participation in the Township Safety Program and improve morale!

Cape May City Physical and Financial Health Fair Several area banks participated as did members of the EMT Squad who took Blood Pressure and Pulse readings for employees. Cape Regional Medical Center sent nurses who gave a cholesterol screening and a breathing analysis test. Lunch was provided for everyone. Gift bags with information inside were distributed to employees to guide them in making healthy choices. Much better attended than last year; held at Convention Hall.

Special Recognition Award Winner Recognition Plaque plus Lunch! Ocean City Administration Department For their work in developing and implementing a Safety Element in their Performance Appraisal Program. This program is of major significance to the Safety Program because it enables Supervisors and Managers to evaluate employees on how safely they accomplish their work. Ocean City Administration Department This process promotes open dialogue among managers and subordinates and promotes discussions about what employees need in order to do their jobs safely.
