3 EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES Principles and standards of DOQUP project are in line with our mission and vision MISSION: To become a leading research and education centre of the Eurasian region, which will provide favorable conditions for conducting research and acquiring advanced knowledge; and will train specialists to develop the priority sectors of the economy and be accountable to the Government and to society for the outcome of their activities

5 Activities related to assessment of study programs according to five ‘standards’ for QA of SPs :  A - Needs and Objectives;  B - Educational Process;  C - Resources;  D - Monitoring;  E - Management System At initial stages, project faculty was Faculty of Architecture and Building Now – International Relations Specialty (5B020200 – International Relations, 6M020200 – International Relations)

Harmonization of study programs between partner universities, development of dual degree study programs

10 Challenges Most of the universities of Kazakhstan have t heir own program for on-line documentation (at ENU Platonus and Arta Synergy) Language barrier Prospects Opportunity for international students to compare and select SP Supports inbound academic mobility Facilitate an accreditation process Understanding and comparison of approaches to development of SPs and their accreditation in foreign and national universities Access, transparency, accountability
