6 What Are We Good At? New head teacher has quickly and accurately identified strengths and areas for development New head teacher has made a good start in improving teaching 6

8 8 Priority 1 – Improve the quality of teaching so that it is at least good in all classes. Teachers to set more challenging work Consistent approach to marking Pupils have more opportunities to practise and consolidate new learning Teacher assessment is accurate Pupils are given more interesting work

9 9 Priority 2 – Improve pupil’s progress to raise attainment by the end of Reception and Year 6 Ensure that more children achieve a good level of development by the end of Reception Improve grammar, punctuation and spelling Improve problem solving in Mathematics Improve presentation of work
